We’re giving the classic chore coat a luxe upgrade, changing out the traditional cotton-canvas for a luxe-feeling, lightweight cotton knit. The result is a piece that feels soft on the skin, flexible to wear over a tee or button-down, and with the pockets and collar of the classic style. It has the same great look of a chore coat, with the feel and warmth of your favorite cardigan. It’s finished with horn buttons down the center placket and our classic heritage ribbon clamshell at the back.

    Love the brand, decade+ of loyalty... but this piece was clearly shipped from a local b&m—Wrinkly as can be, fuzz on each panel, no tissue paper, unlabeled poly bag etc. I didnt even try it on. Keep up the great designs and high quality fabrics.

    Excellent Jacket

    There's a lot I like about the jacket:

    It can be worn in virtually every setting, casual or formal. It'd really have to be very formal for this not to work. The texture of the material is wonderful. The size and fit is just right—it looks like a tailored piece on me. The color is beautiful.

    There's a little I don't like. I'd prefer two buttons on the wrists. The textured fabric doesn't feel bad by any means, but a liner would be nice. That'd probably increase the cost substantially, so . . . .

    Overall, a first-rate jacket. This was my first purchase from Billy Reid. I'll expect I'll be back for more.

    Ok javket

    Needs 2 buttons for a tighter fit around the wrists - even over a long sleeve shirt, the wrists are big and baggie. Slightly big overall for a Medium.

    I looked at this for many months before purchasing. I already owned 2 blue chore coats and justify another. But, the shape and texture kept me coming back to look at it. I finally pulled the trigger and purchased. It is exactly what I had hoped. Great fit, fabric is nice with a small but if stretch and looks great.
