Our archive closet is one of our biggest sources of inspiration and is where we rediscovered this striking peacock artwork. This season, the bird’s rich history comes alive in a whole new light.
The peacock was first born from our design team’s deep inspiration of the botanicals and birds by the naturalist, John James Audubon.
The way the botanical compositions played with the birds was something we thought our friend and artist, Drew Botts, would capture well.
Drew first illustrated the peacock in black and white for our Fall 2018 collection, but this season it gets a second life in tonal jacquards.
